Welcome to my acting website!
 
Here, you will find photos, demos, and my acting CV. I'm British and French, bilingual and fairly atypical. I discovered my stage presence at University when I started performing my own poetry at open mic nights and festivals. I ended up in Paris in 2008 working as a Business Developer  and scouted out performance networks, took improv lessons, met people, joined the Rocky Horror Picture show troop, and in 2011, I was asked to participate in an exhibition in London (I was also making paintings...). It got to the point where I couldn't juggle it all successfully, so opted for making Artstic endeavors my priority, I quit my corporate job, found an agent and started passing castings.

The projects I got involved in through 2011-2016 were diverse and varied. It took me a while to figure out who I was as an actress. I did theatre, short film, other kinds of immersive performance with the Poetry Brothel and a Murder Mystery troop for teambuilding,  I had a few small roles in French cinema and television, leading parts in shorts, and for two years I organised a multi-arts event: Peacock Palace. 
It was great few network and inspiration, but energivore. I needed to recenter and make some choices if I was going to move forwards. 

I decided that the important thing for me in cinema and theatre is the shared experience, with my fellow artists and with the audience. All this started with performance poetry for me, which is all about intimacy, empathy, and transferring emotion. I moved away from solo Art forms to collective performance and film because I love the challenge and complexity of collevtive creation, and the fact that it is less centered on one ego and more goal driven. I've directed a few short-films myself because I wanted to better understand how things work behind the camera and improve my onset skills in general. Over the last few years I've been focussed on working with people I appreciate on a human level. I know that when there are strong bonds in a team the results are fantastic, no matter what the endeavor. It all has to start there.

In 2021/22 I'm working on 2 play projects, of which "#Metoo?" - my own play which should be up and running in early 2022. I am also actively looking for a new agent.   

Alongside my creative endeavors I provide English voiceover services, French to English translation, interpretation and English teaching and coaching services.

I am ever curious, open to meeting new creative people, exchanging ideas, and why not working together if the slipper fits? I am currently based in Paris, France.
